Job summary

As a Business Analyst working as part of the architecture team in IM&T you will be key for interaction between the clinical and administrative functions of the organisation.

Reporting to the Business Engagement Lead you will work within the enterprise architecture and Portfolio Management office (PMO) functions within IM&T to ensure the successful scoping and delivery of all IM&T project work from the seven key workstreams currently being delivered.

Ideally you will have a broad understanding of and interest in healthcare policies and procedures, clinical terms and current trends towards digital healthcare

Main duties of the job

In a busy fast paced environment you will work on multiple projects simultaneously at various phases of delivery. You will capture fit for purpose functional and non-functional requirements in a structured fashion to facilitate translation into suitable solution designs, working closely within the enterprise architecture framework

You will build close relationships with stakeholders, gain understanding of their needs and processes in order to assist them with interacting with the IT function in the most appropriate manner. This may involve assisting with the development and submission of viable specifications/project briefs, business cases or other service requests as necessary.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite /M365

  • Experience gathering, identifying, interpreting and elaborating customer requirements
  • Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders at different levels
  • Experience of identifying, tracking and delivering benefits

Desirable

  • Experience of SDLC activities, including testing and development of use cases / user stories

Communication and Relationship skills

  • Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders at all levels Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts and language with high level of clarity
