Job Title: PharmacyCleaner Location:Leicester Employment Type: 25 hours Company:TrustMed Pharmacy As a PharmacyCleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our pharmacy areas at all three hospital sites. You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile and orderly environment, which is essential for the safety of our patients and the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. This position involves traveling to each hospital site on a regular basis.

Main duties of the job

The Key Job Responsibilities will includePerform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary pharmacy environment, including but notlimited to:1. Ensuring a tidy, clean and well maintained pharmacy environment.2. Disinfecting countertops, shelves, and workspaces3. Emptying rubbish4. Sweeping and mopping floors5. Hoovering6. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces7. Restocking cleaning supplies as needed8. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens andensure patient safety.9. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritise areas requiringimmediate attention.10. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.11. Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
