The Hearing services Department based at The Leicester Royal Infirmary are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team, working in a busy friendly environment.
To provide a courteous, responsive and effective administrative and clerical support to the Hearing Services Department, to support the team by working efficiently and accurately as part of the administration support team.

Main duties of the job
To support the team by working efficiently and accurately as part of the administration support team.
To contact Hearing Services patients by; telephone, sending confirmation letters, collating patient results and maintaining systems and databases.

Job responsibilities

To provide support to the Hearing Services team from a clerical perspective and to facilitate the smooth running of all administrative and clerical processes and procedures.

Help maintain effective maintenance of Patient records on Practice Navigator PMS assist with data processing and updating of the system.

To deal with non-routine and emergency demands for appointments promptly and effectively.
-
Maintain and update diaries, arranging appointments, rescheduling clinics when required.
-
To handle all telephone calls in a courteous, professional manner, paying particular attention to the needs of each individual caller.

To take messages and relay these accurately and promptly.

To prepare Balance/Test clinics ensuring all case notes regarding previous test results are collated on file for the consultants information following review of all relevant files prior to clinic.

Monitor and review patient records on Practice navigator on an on-going basis and ensure outcomes and procedures for attendance at clinics.

Cover reception duties for clerical staff when absent and any other duties that may be required.
