The Volunteer Services Team has vibrant, busy and friendly offices at each of the hospital sites.

The team work hard to support volunteers in performing their many and varied roles and Administrative Support is a key function of this, whether ordering uniforms, documenting volunteering hours or assisting with queries .

This role will include daily weekly and monthly regular tasks such as data input and in person and phone contact with volunteers. It will also involve assisting at events and activities involving volunteers and many other areas.

The apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a busy and varied environment. Communication and customer service are an integral part of the role and self motivation and a willingness to have a flexible approach to learning and work is essential.

To qualify for the apprenticeship role the minimum criteria is:-

You must have GCSE in English and Maths

Have not completed an apprenticeship at the same level and sector in the past.

You do not have a Degree in a similar or same subject

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside existing administrative staff with support and direction to enable you to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive volunteer service.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a diverse service supporting the delivery of Volunteer Activity in all areas of the Trust. You will have the opportunity to understand a range of different projects and work with a diverse range of volunteers, staff and the public.

To support a varied range of volunteer activities within the Trust through administrative tasks that support both volunteers and the staff within the team.
