Job summary

We are seeking to continue improvements in our staff experience by transforming the way that we manage Employee Relations at University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust. We are seeking a number of Case Investigators to join our bank, to lead independent investigations. You will work closely with the Head of Employee Relations to deliver an independent view ensuring that investigations are undertaken in a timely manner with a compassionate, just and restorative focus.

As a Bank Case Investigator, you will with the relevant professional support from the Case Manager and HR, agree the terms of reference, carry out investigation interviews, compile outcome report and present at formal hearing/tribunals as appropriate.

Main duties of the job

You will support Employee Relations related investigations on behalf of UHL including (but not limited to) disciplinary, resolution, bullying & harassment, and whistleblowing investigations. This role will be key to embedding a Just Culture approach to employee investigations drawing on the UHL values to underpin the delivery of the role. Driving efficiency and innovation by ensuring that investigations are undertaken in a compassionate and succinct manner. You will continuedly improve colleague experience through specialist investigations skills and a compassionate leadership style.
