Job summary

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Nursing Team as a Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Data Analyst. This role will be working closely alongside the Corporate Nursing Workforce Team, assimilating and analyzing data and information relating to a wide range of services, including electronic rostering systems and vacancy dashboards, ensuring information is translated into an easily understood format.

Working beside an enthusiastic and passionate workforce team, you will be supporting innovative and sustainable methods to ensure that change is delivered within a strategic context, and supporting upcoming safe staffing systems and processes across UHL.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have expert knowledge and skill of e-rostering and workforce systems and be able to extract data to provide workforce reports for Nursing and Midwifery professionals. They will develop key performance indicator workforce reports from a variety of digital systems and triangulate with patient and workforce outcomes.

They will work as part of a dynamic team supporting the expansion and delivery of the Safe Staffing agenda across UHL. They will be driving safety and quality by the collation, analysis and extraction of data from multiple sources to be used for a wide range of purposes. The post holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders including senior leaders and front-line practitioners in UHL, ensuring that change is delivered within a strategic context which provides efficient and effective ways of supporting the nursing and midwifery workforce.

  • Foster relationships with established contacts and team members and proactively manage these relationships. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
