Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good interpersonal and organisational skills to work in our busy Aseptic unit within the pharmacy department at The Leicester Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and enjoy both an individual challenge and working as part of a friendly, dynamic team.
You must be a professional, registered Pharmacy Technician and hold the NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and have significant post qualification experience in an aseptic or production unit environment.
Main duties of the job
To operate and maintain safe systems of work within the aseptic dispensing suite in order to ensure the highest possible standards.
To monitor the environment and equipment within the aseptic dispensing suite.
To assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the department, equipment and clothing.
To dispense aseptically prepared products.
To be involved in the provision of aseptically prepared clinical trial drugs and completing appropriate records in the trials folder.
