Job summary
To develop the provision of a proactive and customer-focused Employee Relations function for the Trust, aligned to the Just and Restorative Culture. The post holder will support the Trust in the delivery of strategic and operational projects and initiatives.
Working in partnership with managers to develop and deliver the Trust's Employee Relations service which is a crucial element of the overall People Strategy that will deliver an approach to people management that embodies a people-centred 'Just Culture'. With a passion for excellence in customer service, the post holder will develop and deliver a best in class Employee Relations service.
You will need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexibly and independently. The roles will allow you to use your HR skills within a busy acute healthcare setting, to make a difference for staff and ultimately patient care.
Main duties of the job
This role is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the Trust's employee relations casework and team, ensuring that case work is carried out in a timely, effective and efficient way and in accordance with UHL policies and procedures, current legislation and best practice.
In partnership with the wider People Services Team, clinical services and other key stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring that effective and appropriate plans are in place to deliver the priority areas of the UHL People Strategy.
