Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available to join IDU (Infectious Diseases Unit) as an Administration Manager.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for the operational management of speciality/department administrative staff on an ongoing basis, supervising staff across site where applicable.
The post holder will be required to facilitate the continuous provision of a high-quality administrative support to healthcare professionals of all grades and disciplines, service users and CMG management.
The successful candidate must provide leadership, direction and support to admin staff whilst developing effective working relationships, efficient practices and a motivated workforce
Main duties of the job

Recruitment and selection of these staff

Induction and training of these staff

Produce and maintain staff rotas

Provision of cover for absence of these staff

Monitoring performance of staff

Undertaking PADR's of staff

Achieving a balanced budget or the level of expenditure as agreed with the Service Manager

Working with a vision of delivering excellence in all we do the post holder will work as part of the Service Management Team for the LRI and work with Head of Service(s) and Service Lead(s) for the site in conjunction with the CMG to manage the Service(s) to facilitate and support service developments within the CMG.
