Job summary
Working as an integral member of the Recruitment Services Team to deliver an efficient and customer focussed service for all recruitment undertaken by University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL); providing a complete recruitment administration support function for medical staffing. Provide first level advice to recruiting managers on recruitment processes.
To be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a polite, friendly and professional approach.
To support the department in its vision to deliver the very best experience to the users of our service.
Main duties of the job
Receive complex and sensitive information requiring tact, persuasive and empathetic communication skills to ensure understanding and breakdown communication barriers.
Provide follow up advice to managers, colleagues and applicants to ensure timely completion of activities and resolution of queries.
Develop and implement effective communication systems in order to maintain close links between the recruitment team, hiring managers and applicants in the operation of daily duties.

Ensure that all relevant vacancy paperwork is received and that appropriate approval has been given for advertising.
Liaise with recruiting manager to agree recruitment timescales, keep the manager regularly informed of progress and any delays to the recruitment process, in accordance with the departments KPIs.
Upload vacancies through Trac, ESR and NHS Jobs and if applicable liaise with the advertising agency if approval for external paid advertising has been given by the CMG.
Assist, as and when required, at bulk recruitment events, including recruitment Open Days, both in the preparation of pre event organisation including vacancy, recruitment pipeline data and on the day, processing pre-employment clearances and other associated paperwork; provide sign-posting and deal with general enquiries. Will be required to work offsite during recruitment open days and events. Will be required to cross cover in cases of absence or annual leave as needed.
