Job summary

Acute Frailty Unit Band 5 Registered Nurses We are looking for dynamic enthusiastic Band 5 nurses to work on the Acute Frailty Unit (16 beds) at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. We are situated on the emergency floor and receive direct admissions from the emergency department. The unit is a fast paced medical environment where you can gain a wealth of experience in acute geriatric medicine. We offer excellent opportunities and support for development. The length of stay for patients is approximately 24 to 48 hours. You will gain knowledge around the discharge process. We work closely to our training and development team. We can offer support to newly qualified nurses (DMU students to apply through clearing) Promotion opportunities/ development Clinical and Specialist training, Rotational posts on the Emergency floor Internal rotation shift patterns are available /full time/part time hours.
