We are looking for a self-motivated individual to support our Admin Transplant Team based at the Leicester General.
Minimum requirements are a good general education, 6 months clerical experience and keyboard skills. Previous NHS experience and knowledge of HISS would be useful but not essential.

Main duties of the job
KEY RESULT AREAS
- To provide support to the medical secretaries, Clinic coordinators & administrative team, and management team from a clerical perspective as and when required.
- To facilitate the smooth running of all administrative and clerical processes and procedures associated with the running of the area in which the member of staff has been placed.
- Help maintain an effective filing system and maintenance of records
- Assist with data processing
- To handle office telephone calls in a courteous, professional manner, paying particular attention to the needs of each individual patient and caller.
- To take these messages and relay these accurately and promptly
- To perform clerical/administrative duties of photocopying, laminating, faxing, shredding, opening of incoming mail ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Distribute documents in a timely manner
- To accurately copy type and/or word process documents as required
- Maintain and update diaries where necessary.
