The retail catering service provides a high quality service to staff and visitors to our hospitals and maintains a high standard in customer care.
As aRetail Catering Assistant you will become an active member of our team working to provide Retail customer service experience for staff and visitors in our busy restaurants.
We are looking for a team member who demonstrate enthusiasm, an eagerness to learn and to develop themselves. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as, full training will be provided.
A good standard of English language both written and oral communication is essential along with the drive to deliver the best possible service at all times, in an often busy and pressurized environment.

Main duties of the job
The role of a Retail Catering Assistant is to work within the restaurants or food outlets within the retail area.Provide a front-of-house service which is customer focused and includes preparing and providing beverages, snacks meal items, cash handling, the use of a till, temperature recording and restocking of goods.There will also be a need for some minimal food preparation with cleaning and washing up responsibilities.

- Cash handling and the using of tills.
- Maintaining good hygiene practices within the department.
- Preparation of drinks and snacks to Brand standards
- Food preparation as required in the main production kitchen.
