Job summary

Following the promotion of the previous post-holder, we are seeking an enthusiastic Executive Assistant Support Officer to join the Finance and Procurement Directorate at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.The Executive Assistant Support Officer will support the current Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in providing a high quality and professional service to the CFO and managing an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative function within the Finance and Procurement Directorate.We are looking to recruit an individual who has experience within a similarenvironment and has the values in line with our five Trust values. We are a large and busy acute healthcare provider and desire individuals who are resilient, focused and who have a 'can do' attitude.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with the right skills and motivation to be part of the Administration Team.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will support the Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer in providing a high quality and professional service to the Chief Financial Officer and managing an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative function within the Finance and Procurement Directorate.

The successful candidate will be working for an extremely busy Corporate Directorate in alarge acute healthcare provider.

Managing complex diaries for Senior Management Team and arranging a variety of internal and external meetings and events

Attending and minuting meetings

Formatting a variety of documents (e.g. letters, reports, presentations)

Communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Monitoring compliance on appraisals and statutory/mandatory training

Ordering IT equipment and office supplies

Utilising a variety of software packages (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams)
