Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the posts of Fellow (CT/SHO Grade) in Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthesia.
This post is suitable for doctors post FRCA who have at least 7 years anaesthetic experience including 12 months of general Paediatric Anaesthetic experience.
The post is for a period of 12 months, starting in February-March 2023.
The post has 12 months of exposure to Paediatric and Adult congenital Cardiac Anaesthesia and participation supporting the on call consultant for the Paediatric Cardiac on call rota at the Leicester Royal infirmary.
Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join the existing Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthetists based at the East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre (EMCHC based within the Leicester Royal Infirmary's childrens hospital.
The fellow post will be part of a dedicated team providing high quality care to patients requiring anaesthesia for Congenital Cardiac procedures which includes surgery, both paediatric and adult congenital cardiac cases, catheter lab based work and providing anaesthesia for the ever growing imaging service that EMCHC provides.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of an MDT to deliver this high quality care.
