BAND 7 CT Superintendent Radiographer FULL TIME - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
We have a vacancy for a highly motivated Superintendent CT Radiographer to run the CT units at the County Hospital and Lincoln CDC as a base site.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate who will need to lead an already well-established excellent team.
A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a dynamic State Registered Radiographer with a wealth of CT experience, both clinically and organisationally.
You will work in conjunction with the current CT Superintendents, modality lead and CT clinical specialist at all sites within the Trust to ensure a safe and efficient CT department.
Main duties of the job
To effectively manage the CT department, at both the County Hospital and our state of the art department within Lincoln community diagnostic centre. Organising daily workloads, H&S, HR and recruitment, Appraisals, Radiation safety, image quality, patient care etc. are our top priorities, to name a few.
Developing plans to accommodate current and future demands by changing/improving working patterns to meet Trust objectives.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
