Main duties of the job

Based at Lincoln County Hospital

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 17:00pm. Part time hours are availableand evening hours are also available 16.00pm - 20.00pm

Salary: Band 3 £24,071 - £25,674 per annum depending on experience

As a Senior Administration Assistant in Outpatients, you will:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Outpatients Department, ensuring smooth day to-day operations.
  • Coordinate appointments, booking both new and follow up appointments ensuring national and local targets are always adhered to.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients both face to face and by telephone, offering excellent customer service.
  • Liaise effectively with GP's and other health care professionals both internally and externally.

What we're looking for:

  • GCSE's grade C and above in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in a customer care environment or experience of working in an administrative related environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

You don't need to have previous NHS experience--just the passion to learn and contribute to a team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.
