Job summary
Working as a A&E orderly you will be escorting patients to other areas of the hospital for investigations and admissions. you will support with the cleanliness of the department ensuring our audit results are maintained above 95%.
You will be working in the clinical area with he clinical team you assisting the nursing staff in preparing areas for patients.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for undertaking the full range of cleaning duties, as per schedule, in a timely manner, ensuring working practices comply with all current policies and procedures relating to Control of Infection. COSHH and Health and Safety in the vicinity of the department.
To undertake scheduled and ad hoc duties relating to environmental cleanliness and/or appearance of the area, such as toilets, curtain changing, patient bed cleaning.
