Children's Community Nurses Admin Support - Lincoln - Band 3

Job summary

Our team is looking for an approachable, motivated and enthusiastic person to join us to work as Administrative Support for the Children's Community Nurses.

The successful person would be required to work Monday-Friday within the times of 09.00-1700 preferably mornings, days to be arranged.

The CCN service is routinely available Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00hrs, however nursing team members work flexibly to provide 'before' and 'after' school visits as required depending upon the needs of individual children and their families.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team. You will be mainly office based in support of the teams caring for children at home in the community following an acute episode of hospitalisation, or those with long term conditions including complex health care needs. It is essential that you are able to work unsupervised and are motivated. Good communication skills with excellent customer care skills should be demonstrated at all times. You must have the ability to travel throughout the County for meetings or occasional cross cover for our Boston and Grantham teams. Previous experience of minute taking would be highly advantageous.

Opportunities for further professional development and regular 1:1 support from the Team Leader will be available.

Applicants should have RSA Level 2 or equivalent with a good standard of education. You should also be fully conversant with Microsoft Office and have Word Processing and ideally have minute taking skills.
