Job summary
Witham Ward/ RSU (Respiratory Support Unit) is a new respiratory area within Lincoln County Hospital. It is split into a 28 bedded ward for general respiratory patients and a 10 bedded Respiratory Support Unit caring for the more acute patients, requiring Non-invasive ventilation, Tracheostomy care or higher nursing care.
As a healthcare support worker, you will work alongside registered nurses, student nurses and allied health professionals, to provide the highest standard of care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for Working under delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse in delivering a high standard of care to our patients in accordance with individualise care needs, utilising flexible, innovate and effective practice that demonstrates that our patients are at the centre of everything we do. We expect that staff provide care that is underpinned by the 6Cs and uphold the trusts core values.
