Job summary
This is a newly created, exciting new post to provide essential administration support to the Diagnostics Lead and Service Leads within the Diagnostics Clinical Business Unit. The post holder will play a pivotal role in producing reports and presentations in readiness for team, service, governance and cabinet meetings. Keeping up to date with new technology and reporting systems to ensure seamless data collection. Managing and coordinating diaries and arranging meetings.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive, effective, and efficient and confidential administrative and personal secretarial support to the Diagnostic clinical lead. This comprehensive support will include administrative and personal secretarial duties, including management of incoming and electronic mail, where appropriate drafting and responding to such communications on behalf of the Clinical Lead Diagnostics whilst acting on one's own initiative and without supervision within agreed parameters.
To facilitate and attend Diagnostics meetings/other business meetings of the over-arching Clinical Support Services Division and record and prepare minutes of those meetings. To ensure that attendees and, in particular, Clinical Lead Diagnostics is reminded of actions arising from those meetings together with any agreed timescales.
