Job summary
To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the Specialist Nurse Trainers for Children with Disabilities Specialist Disabilities Nurses and , who are based in Lincoln with a County-wide remit
Main duties of the job
- To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Specialist Nurse Trainers for Children with Disabilities and the Specialist Disabilities Nurses based at St Francis Special School, Lincoln
- To type all correspondence, prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings and ensure that these are disseminated appropriately.
- To arrange meetings, training sessions and appointments with schools, professionals and families who access the service,
- To work flexibly to ensure the successful smooth running of the team by demonstrating sound communication skills, a tactful, empathetic and calm manner.
- To prepare materials for presentations as required using Power point, Microsoft Word, Excel.
- To maintain the team databases to ensure all information accurately recorded in line with Trust policies.
- To receive and make telephone calls on behalf of the team, to accurately take messages and disseminate the information and to make records of all calls.
- To have a working knowledge of the policies and procedures of ULHT, to maintain strict confidentiality at all times and to have a working knowledge of the Intranet and ULHT emailing systems (training will be provided).
- To photocopy, and carry out filing duties and to keep accurate records of reports and statistics and create a filing system in order to maintain optimum efficiency.
- To assist in the production of leaflets and information sheets and to assist in the promotion of the service.
