Currently have 3 posts for F2 level in Trauma & Orthopaedics. 1 post is for Lincoln County Hospital and 2 posts for Boston Pilgrim hospital.
Applications are invited for the above post at Lincoln hospital or Boston Pilgrim hospital in an attractive rural area of South Lincolnshire.
The posts will commence asap for a fixed period of 12 months (reviewable at that point) providing excellent hands-on experience in Orthopaedics.
Applicants are required to join a team of Orthopaedic Doctors in a modern and busy department. There are excellent development opportunities to gain valuable experience in Orthopaedic Surgery. Ideally, applicants should haveprevious experience in Orthopaedics. Applicants should be registered with the GMC or be qualified at an appropriate level in order to register with the GMC
Main duties of the job
These posts are supported by Consultants, Associate Specialists, Specialty Doctors and Specialist Registrars. The posts would be suitable for candidates wishing to pursue a surgical career.
This is an excellent opportunity for junior doctors who are looking to acquire relevant skills to develop further in their careers.
The successful candidates will be given an audit topic to complete during their period in post and candidates are encouraged to pursue any research interests that they may have.
A structured educational programme preparing you for the MRCS exams is in place. Excellent postgraduate and medical library facilities are available. The Trust is an equal opportunities employer.
