A new and exciting opportunity has be created within the the Diagnostic Clinical Business Unit at United Lincolnshire Hospitals for the role of a Diagnostic Operational Manager
Band 8b: £58,972 - £68, 525
Hours: 37.5 per week - Over 7-day working
May have to take part in the Trust Tactical On call (Silver on call)
Main duties of the job
Support the Clinical Lead for Diagnostics across all specialities and aspects of service delivery as and when required.
Be operationally responsible for the tactical and strategic management of the Diagnostic Clinical Business Unit.
Support the Clinical Lead for Diagnostics in developing and maintaining a high quality patient centred Diagnostic services.
Develop robust and sustainable strategic plans for the delivery of diagnostic services for the Trust within the context of an unpredictable marketplace and conflicts of interest of key stakeholders.
Be operationally responsible for the achievement of Directorate and Trust targets.
Work with the Clinical Lead Diagnostic to develop, direct and facilitate changes both in the development of diagnostic staff and working practices in diagnostic services.
Be operationally responsible for the direction and communication of complex strategies within the Diagnostic Clinical Business unit and between other Directorates, other healthcare providers, and Trusts.
Responsible for the management and delivery of effective Diagnostic Services across the Trust.
To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service,
To work with and support the Clinical Lead Diagnostics with complex projects often taking the lead role for the Diagnostic Clinical Business unit, liaising with stakeholders, Integrated Care Board and NHS England.
