Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity within the Retail outlets at Pilgrim Hospital for the position of a Retail Catering Section Leader.

We provide a busy service for staff, Patients and Visitors during the week and require a motivated individual that is able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.

The successful candidate will be required to supervise a team of around 12 people as well as liaising with other departments and ensuring the service runs smoothly.

Main duties of the job

- Controlling stock levels

- Ordering stock

-Organising and supervising staff

-Quality control

-Managing staff rotas, absence, appraisal and core learning

-Reporting faults

-Serving customers and dealing with any issues that may arise

-Cash Handling

-Food handing (serving food, preparing food)
