Job summary
Louth Outpatients is seeking a HCSWs to join its small but dedicated team. This post is for a part time position of 18 hours per week. The hours worked per week may fluctuate over a four week rostering period due to clinic activity where this may result in you may working slightly more or less than your contracted hours per week. However, at the end of 4 weeks you will have averaged your contracted hours per week.
At Louth Outpatients we deliver a wide variety of clinics from Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and paediatric clinics and we will support you to gain the skills required to deliver these clinics. There is scope for developing extra skills and being part of a friendly supportive team.
The department is currently open 0800-1800 and as a member of Clinical Support Services staff there is an expectation of being available 0800-2000 Monday to Saturday. As we explore new ways of working following the COVID pandemic candidates should be aware that it may be necessary to participate in a 7 day roster.
Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for Working under delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse/ Midwife in delivering a high standard of care to our patients in accordance with individualise care needs, utilising flexible, innovate and effective practice that demonstrates that our patients are at the centre of everything we do.
