Job summary
This is an opportunity for a full time Specialty Doctor in Gastroenterology based at Lincoln County Hospital.
The appointee will be expected to work flexibly and be responsible for day to day patient care, ward rounds and gastroenterology medicine clinic sessions and review of referrals from other specialties. During this time, you will be working under the supervision of the gastroenterology consultant and will be expected to increase your clinical knowledge and skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to share knowledge and skills with junior members of staff, offering support and learning opportunities.
The post holder will be responsible for supervising the FY1 and FY2/CT doctors and work closely with the consultants, leading the ward round on occasions and supporting junior staff on the Gastroenterology and General Medical wards when required.
