Job summary
This is a key role in the management of Radiology working closely with the senior management team.
The post holder will provide operational management support, both generally and for specific time-limited projects with the Radiology Management team, to develop specific services using a business focussed approach.
Main duties of the job
Focussing on ensuring patients receive treatment within the agreed waiting times. Responsible for the management and business processes of the waiting lists and the administration function within Radiology; supporting patient pathways and quality indicators.

You will be required to produce a range of information on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist the monitoring of nationally and locally contractually determined standards of access to healthcare on a consistent basis.
You will be required to assist the Operational managers in the production of business plans and business cases. Identify areas of the service which might benefit from process mapping and/or redesign work and work with others to develop and implement any action plans.
