Antenatal and Newborn Screening Midwife
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Midwife to join the Antenatal and Newborn Screening team.
This is a well-established team who deliver high-quality screening services to women across Lincolnshire in line with the National Screening Committee guidelines/
The posts involve working Trust wide, although working out of a local base with regular (weekly) travel is acceptable.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the antenatal and newborn screening coordinator and team to provide a safe and high quality antenatal and newborn screening service within United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT).
The post holder will provide act as a professional resource for women, their families and the multi professional team.
The post holder will support the antenatal and newborn screening coordinator to provide education within the mandatory training programme to support staff in the delivery of an evidence based antenatal and newborn screening service.
The post holder will participate in audit of the recommended screening programmes and be involved in the processes that provide national Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) data to the Head of Midwifery/Nursing (HoM/N), local Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and PHE Quality Assurance (QA) team.
