Dermatology Specialty Doctor

Job Details

Salary: £40,037 to £74,661 dependent upon experience.

4.425 PA's per week

About the Role ....

It is anticipated the initial contract would be for 4.425 PA's including 0.8 sessions supporting professional development. The job plan would include outpatient clinics, ward visits and admin time.

What we're looking for .....

  • Current valid GMC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years Dermatology experience including training in skin surgery.
  • MRCP or equivalent

MRCP or equivalent, a Higher Degree, and experience working in the UK would all be desirable.

The appointee will be expected to work flexibly and be responsible for day to day patient care.

The post holder will be expected to partake in teaching activities for junior doctors in training and medical students.

The Job Plan and duties will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis in line with demands of the service.

Main duties of the job

Support the delivery of a comprehensive dermatology service to the hospitals within Lincolnshire.

Provide departmental cover for dermatology by coordinating leave with colleagues.

Teach medical students, nurses, junior medical staff and general practitioners and to take an active part in the Postgraduate Medical Education programme.

Attend the Dermatology Team meetings.

Take part in the Departmental Audit programme

Undertake such other duties as may be identified to meet the needs
