- 40 hours per week, rolling rota basis 1-8
- Fixed term for 1 year x from December 2022 until December 2023 with a possibility to extend further.
Main duties of the job
The maternity service is housed in a separate wing and has 46 ante and postnatal beds, 11 delivery beds and 3 post theatre beds. The unit has around 3,800 deliveries a year.
There is a well-equipped modern Special Care Baby Unit with 20 cots. The maternity wing also houses the Gynaecology wards with 30 inpatient and 5 day case beds and 2 operating theatres.
About the Role....
To participate in clinical activities (clinic and on call cover). To engage actively in teaching, audits and Clinical Governance programs within the department.
