Looking for a new challenge and to widen your horizon? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our acute medicine pharmacy team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist.
You will provide clinical pharmacy service to a variety of acute medical areas, within a Pharmacy Department that provides a supportive environment for professional development with a range of experienced and specialist senior pharmacists.
Main duties of the job
Whilst providing a clinical pharmacy service you will be expected to offer advice to medical, nursing, other healthcare staff and patients on all aspects of the safe & effective use of medicines.
This includes facilitating reconciliation, prescribing advice, discharge planning and patient counselling and supporting clinical trials process. Prescribing to support medicines safety, effectiveness and discharge flow will also be expected for pharmacists working at Advanced Level.
The pharmacy team has a wide range of qualified staff including technicians and assistants who will assist you in your day-to-day role.

You must be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC, hold a post-graduate diploma or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate evidence of your Continued Professional Development (CPD).
