We are currently looking for nearly or newly qualified Dietitians to be a part of our remarkable team as a Band 5 Dietitian.
Based at either Hull Royal Infirmary or Castle Hill Hospital (including the highly-regarded Queens Oncology Centre), this post will provide an excellent grounding in general dietetics within a trust that provides a comprehensive range of acute services to over 1.3 million people.
Working alongside an award-winning team of Specialist Dietitians, you'll be offered the opportunity to work as part of one of our specialist teams in neurosciences & neurosurgery, renal, oncology, surgery (including parenteral nutrition), respiratory, critical care and gastroenterology.
A full competency-led training and support package will be provided to ensure you can develop your clinical skills in as many different areas as you wish in reaching your full potential, and developing a career that's right for you.
You'll have a varied caseload, as you support our team in training, take part in staff teaching, help in audit and service developments - and maybe even have the occasional article published!
We can usually provide reasonably priced hospital accommodation to get you started.

Main duties of the job
As a rotational Dietitian you will manage a clinical caseload which will involve planning, implementing and evaluating nutrition and dietetic interventions for patients in a variety of clinical settings including inpatients and outpatients. You will be assisting in specialist areas in conjunction with senior colleagues.
You will be providing advice on dietetic care in a range of medical conditions as part of a rotation.
You will be expected to participate in the promotion and development of dietetic services within the organisation in conjunction with colleagues.
You will contribute to the supervision and training of student dietitians, dietetic assistants and other colleagues and Health care professionals.
