Job summary
The Neurosciences Care Group is looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team and to work in our Neurology and stroke rehab ward at Hull Royal Infirmary.
The ward provides a wide range of treatment and rehab, working along side multiple specialities to Hull and East Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic nurse with excellent clinical nursing and decision making skills, allowing them to deliver a high quality service to patients.
The successful candidates will work with the Nursing team in providing direct high quality neurosurgical patient care for both elective and planned admissions.
We would welcome previous experience in Neurology and stroke to apply for this post, you will have a passion and willingness to learn new skills to specialise in this field. You will be supported by the experienced Neuro medical team to develop clinical and managerial with a full training package.
The hours of work will include days, nights, weekend and bank holiday cover on a rotational basis.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected to perform duties as per the attached job description. Compassion and care being essential to these roles, you will be caring for a wide range of patients having experienced neuro medical and stroke rehab injury and their treatment and care.
You will also be an excellent team player and have great communication skills.
In addition, the post holder will required to work with the Multidisciplinary team in the provision of a high standard of individualized patient care, thus improving the patient experience.
