Performance Management Assistant

Job summary

The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to manage the monitoring processes across the Trust liaising with other organisations and internal partners contributing towards the creation of a professional culture of Performance Management.

The Performance Management Assistant provides advice and support in line with national standards and local standard operating procedures in order to safeguard patient care ensuring that the values of the Trust are upheld.

The post holder will provide, interpret and analyse information for use across the organisation which will inform decision making.

Main duties of the job

The Performance Manager supports the Head of Performance:o Monitors Group performance against KPIs liaising with both Trusts within the Group to ensure accurate recording against standards.o Provides advice to the operational and administration teams on national standards, KPIs etco Co-ordinates and leads meetings with key stakeholders.o Provides, interprets and analyses information for use across the Group which will inform decision making, escalating areas of weakness and work with the services to implement systems and processes to improve performance. o Support the performance team by undertaking specific project work to contribute towards the improvement in delivery of services across the organisation.o The post holder is required to liaise with a wide range of staff within the Group and external partners.o Work closely with Information Services to regularly review and monitor report criteria that is in line with national guidance.o Developing and monitoring data quality and audit programmes.
