Exciting Opportunity

Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our highly skilled Paediatric Therapy Team specialising in the treatment of Paediatric patients across both inpatient and outpatient services.

The post will be based within the paediatric therapy team at Hull Royal Infirmary.

We require self-motivated, dynamic clinicians who are stimulated by challenge and are looking for the opportunity to improve their skills at a senior level. It is expected that you will have completed your core rotations as a band 5 and ideally, have had experience and an interest in working with paediatrics .

You will gain experience, knowledge and skills in many specialist areas within the paediatric service including orthopaedic , rheumatology, and neurodevelopmental specialties .

Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and contributions to service planning, development and teaching. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients with a range of neurological, developmental, musculoskeletal , orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions both in an outpatient and inpatient setting within the paediatric service .To perform specialist physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex needs, to provide diagnosis, develop, and deliver individualised treatment programme.To be actively involved in the implementation of specific changes to practice and protocols.

The post would suit a band 5 physiotherapist who has completed their core rotations or an experienced senior physiotherapist who has an interest in specialising in paediatric service .
