Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our diverse team of allied health professionals. The post holder will work gain experience working in a large busy acute teaching Trust that is a vascular and Trauma centre.
The post holder will work alongside colleagues to support the assessment of need across a range of clinical conditions, which present with varying degrees of complexity. As a Senior Physiotherapist you will deliver the assessment and treatment of patients who present within the Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Service , delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being , self-management and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life
We are seeking people who can adapt to changing environment and work well in a team. You will be expected to be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and build social networks working in partnership with other agencies to identify and address the immediate need
Main duties of the job
The rotations offer experience in Elective Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients including Gym, Emergency Care, Hands and Plastics, Rheumatology, Occupational Health and Paediatrics.
The post would suit a Band 5 physiotherapist who has completed their core rotations and feels ready for the challenge of the senior rotational position.
The post holder will be self-motivated and aspirational, be able to assess in an effective and timely manner in a busy environment. Confidence in enabling patients in self-management and personalised care.
Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and the post holder will contribute to service planning, development and teaching. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same.
There will be a requirement to support a 7 day rota and an on -call rota .
The successful candidate will be fully supported in CPD programme .
