BANK Speech & Language Therapy Assistants

Are you currently studying for a Speech & Language Therapy or related degree? Or are you working as an SLTA already and interested to gain additional experience in an acute hospital trust?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Hull!

We have bank SLTA roles available, particularly aimed at you if you are a student studying for a Speech & Language Therapy degree. Or if you are already working as a therapy assistant, we would be delighted to hear from you if you are keen to build on your experience. This will give you opportunities to support the work of our Speech & Language Therapy team across Hull Royal Infirmary and/or Castle Hill Hospital. You will gain excellent clinical experience in an acute trust, be well-supported and any hours can be worked flexibly around breaks from your studies or current working pattern.

Main duties of the job

Therapy Assistant to work within the Speech & Language Therapy department at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle HillHospital

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic SLT students/SLTAs who are keen to support our team of SLTs, SLT Assistant Practitioners/Assistants and Admin, and gain excellent clinical experience.

As an SLTA you will provide support to our qualified Therapists, providing direct patient care, implementing patient therapy plans, as well as performing clinical administrative duties associated with the day to day running of the department.

Bank hours can be worked flexibly and be agreed with the Therapy service dependent upon service need.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
