An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Payroll Team based in the Employee Service Centre at Castle Hill Hospital.

The Employee Service Centre Payroll Assistant will provide an efficient and effective payroll service for Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a team which strives for continuous improvement and improved efficient, the post holder will provide a high quality, customer focussed and measureable service to Internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Process Payroll information into the ESR Payroll including Timesheets, New starters, Third party deductions, etc etc
  • Answer Payroll Queries that come through the ESC Helpdesk.
  • Use judgment to make decisions based on existing processes and problem solve payroll issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Payroll service.
  • Achieve designated objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Be an effective team member and co-operate to achieve common goals.
  • Support colleagues to ensure that agreed standards are maintained.
