Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for motivated Staff Nurse to join our dedicated senior nursing team in coordinating and providing and developing nursing care within the acute medicine division Acute Medical Unit.

Both a permanent post full time 1wte and 2 secondment full time posts are available.

The post will involve nursing and managing acutely ill patients within acute setting with expected length of stay of less than 12hours. The position is open to post-registration and newly qualified nursing staff.

This exciting opportunity will allow individuals to work alongside a team who are devoted to continually improve the quality of care and enhance the patient's experience, as well as ensuring safe and seamless discharge planning. The post will include 24-hour rotation including nights and weekends.

In return for commitment and dedication, we offer a comprehensive preceptorship package with the teacher practitioner and the opportunities to learn and develop nursing skills to support patients admitted with acute complex medical conditions.
