Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and highly committed individual to work closely with the team of Consultants within the Department of Urology at Castle Hill Hospital. The Department is a busy tertiary referral cancer centre providing a comprehensive range of urology services. The department has an established, high-volume robotic-assisted surgical programme within a two-theatre robotic suite at the Trust.
The successful candidate will be eligible for a relocation package of up to £8,000, in line with the Trusts Relocation Expenses Policy.
Main duties of the job
This is a substantive post with a sub-specialist interest in pelvic uro-oncology. It is intended that the post-holder will work with the team of existing surgeons to further develop the robotic-assisted prostatectomy and radical cystectomy service.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to deliver general urology services and provide a 1:8 week acute on-call.
