Trainee Nursing Associate - Level 5 Apprenticeship

Hours - 37.5 hours, shift pattern
We are looking for remarkable candidates for our 2 year Trainee Nursing Associate Apprenticeship programme. You will attain a Level 5 Foundation Degree qualification and once complete you will become a Registered Nursing Associate, with a post at Hull University Teaching Hospital
At the end of the programme, the Trainee Nursing Associate will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a Registered Nursing Associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.
Main duties of the job
The post will be demanding so we are looking for candidates who are ready for the challenge and share our values of care, honesty, and accountability. You will need to deliver high quality and compassionate care under the direction of a registered health care professional.
You will have a base ward at Hll Univeristy Teaching Hospitals, and study at Hull Univeristy, as well as attend placements at HUTH and our partner organisations.
You will be working towards achieving the Standards as part of your main responsibilities.

About us
HUTH has two main sites: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.
The Trust's secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

Eligibility and entry requirements
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grades A*-C (or equivalent level 2 qualifications), be able to provide evidence of a minimum of Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy (e.g Grade C - 4/5 or above in GCSE Maths and English) This is an Apprenticeship Requirement
- Level 3 in Health/Health & Social Care related subjects.
- You must not hold a similar qualification (including apprenticeship) at Level 5 or higher and you must not already be in any form of formal government-funded education.
