Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Forensic Healthcare Service for a full-time Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker to join the friendly team at The Chichester Centre, a Low Secure Mental Health unit comprising of three wards, located in Chichester, West Sussex.

Sussex Partnership Forensic Healthcare Services provide a comprehensive service for mentally-disordered patients across the forensic care pathway, both in a secure environment and through case management in the community.

We are looking for a friendly, approachable and hardworking professional with a passion for delivering high quality care. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective team working; have excellent communication skills and experience of mental health nursing. Main duties of the job

To work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for clients.

To undertake a range of delegated clinical health duties in mental health settings.

To record patients' information.

Assess a patients condition through basic test results, assess comfort of the patient and instigate emergency procedures.

Plan and organise own day-to-day work tasks and activities.
