Urgent Care Hastings Senior Nurse Practitioner
We are fortunate to be in a position to expand and develop our Urgent Care Services to become an Urgent Care Hub providing seamless urgent care as an alternative to hospital admission and Emergency Department attendance and attending the Conquest General hospital to facilitate, support, advice and assessment of patients presenting in acute crisis.
Strong clinical leadership, positive role modelling of trust values and excellent risk assessment/management skills will be key responsibilities of the post holder who would be required to work across all Urgent care Services based in Hastings at night.
Main duties of the job
This post provides overnight management to the in patient wards, front line assessments in the Haven & A and E plus overnight cover CRHT for Hastings Urgent Care.
As a senior clinician, you will support the development of more junior staff, and contribute to the wider leadership of the team.

- Have experience on leading the management of care for patients with challenging and complex presentations.
- Be able to demonstrate personal resilience and skills in supporting colleagues to manage challenging situations.

- Registered Nurse with current registration (mental health / LD/ Adult) appropriate to the job role.
- Degree/diploma level supplemented by specialist qualification, training, experience, courses to masters level equivalent relevant to the care group
- Evidence of post registration training in relevant service area
- Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB equivalent
