An opportunity has arisen in The East Sussex Neurodevelopmental Pathway, which is part of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), who are looking for an experienced administrator. The role will play a key part in the administrative support to the wider clinical team, and you will need to be flexible, proactive, calm under pressure and a team player.

Main duties of the job

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise and adapt to constant demands on the workload as well as to demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.The post holder is responsible for carrying out general administrative duties; work within set routines and processes, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the service, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries. Relevant experience working within an administration team is essential.

Essential skills required for the post include - the ability to prioritise tasks, effective time management skills; excellent IT and secretarial skills; good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Experience of producing documents to a high standard of presentation with good accuracy
  • Experience of maintaining office systems
  • Experience of working in a team
