Job summary

The post holder will play a pivotal role in driving the integration of transformation, strategy and continuous improvement to achieve the Trusts' long-term objectives. Ensuring transformation initiatives are aligned with the Trusts strategic vision, fostering a culture of innovation, by embedding quality improvement methodologies into the core of these initiatives. Thepostholderis a senior leadership role responsible for oversight and the direction of strategic transformation initiatives across the Trust. The role will focus on the design and implementation of large-scale change programmes that enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the financial sustainability of the Trust. This position will play a critical role in aligning the Trust's services with the evolving healthcare landscape, including digital transformation, service redesign, and continuous improvement.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead comprehensive transformation programmes translating organisational, ICS and NHS objectives into cohesive service delivery from initiation to closure. The role will be pivotal in developing the required organisational capability to enable the Trust to achieve its strategic requirements.

The role will work across the organisation and closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to lead transformation and change, support planning and delivery of the Trusts transformation programmes and associated projects.

The postholder will be responsible for the line management and development of the Trust Project Management Office and Programme Management resources.

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the NHS, healthcare, or a related field
