Job summary

We have a great opportunity for a full-time band 5 nurse to work in the Dementia & Older People's Mental Health Team based in Horsham, Sussex.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly-skilled and enthusiastic multi professional team. We will take a keen interest in helping you to develop the skills important to this role and the post-holder will be encouraged to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives.

You will be part of a highly-skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team. You will receive regular managerial and clinical supervision. This is a challenging but rewarding role as we receive positive feedback from our service users and carers. The post holder will be expected to travel across the geographical area- (Crawley and Horsham covered by the team, the ability to travel to remote areas is essential.

Main duties of the job

This post will involve working with older people with complex mental health needs. You will be expected to support both the client and their carers. and manage your own caseload. You will also need to be able to work cohesively with other services both within our Trust, and with other partner agencies. We follow a multi-disciplinary approach and within that context you will manage a caseload of older adults.

This post offers the Trust's £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
