Job summary

To be part of the catering team ensuring deliveries are taken and delivered to the four wards at Langley Green Hospital in Crawley, West Sussex.

To ensure all dietary requirements are taken and delivered daily.

To support with preparation of food to assist the caf.

To Deep clean the kitchen area and ensure we meet standards of cleanliness.

To follow Safer Food Better Business practices ensuring compliancy around temperature taking of fridges and freezers.

To report any defects to line management.

Main duties of the job

Ensure all deliveries are checked and stores delivered to wards daily.

Salad and sandwich prep for the patients and caf .

Order special meal requests for dietary needs of some patients

Ensure all HACCP'S procedures are undertaken with compliance for Environmental Health Officer inspections

Support Supervisors with any catering related requests

We are looking for a reliable person who can work alternate weekends as a catering assistant to prepare salads , fillings for sandwiches, baps and rolls for our patients . To load delivery trollies with the daily food requirements , deliver to the ward and store safely.
