This is an opportunity to join the busy East Sussex CAMHS team in the role of Personal Assistant to the General Manager. This position is part time (22.5hrs per week) can be based at either Highmore, Hailsham or St Anne's, Hastings.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide a high level of Personal Assistant support to the General Manager as well as administrative support to other members of the CAMHS Leadership Team.

This will include undertaking a wide range of activities, including the organisation of events, meeting coordinating, minute taking and diary management.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Manager.

A flexible approach to work and the ability to work under your own initiative is essential to this role. Candidates should be able to work calmly under pressure and maintain confidentiality at all times.

The post holder will provide a highly efficient secretarial and administrative service, including daily liaison with staff at all levels. As a first point of contact, this role will also include regular communication with partner agencies as well as service users and their carers.

Duties will also include:

  • developing and maintaining effective office systems, including diary management
  • first point of contact for service users, carers and staff
  • providing a highly professional, confidential messaging service and actioning as appropriate
  • developing and collating agendas, managerial correspondence and meeting minutes
  • planning team events, booking venues, arranging equipment

The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
