Job summary
The Sussex Mindfulness Centre (SMC) Administrator will provide an effective and efficient administrative service to SMC focusing on supporting our Business Manager with digital communications about particular training programmes, promoting SMC events and work streams as required.
The post holder will support the SMC Business Manager and other members of the team by updating the SMC website, and be responsible for managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) within E-shot and must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Main duties of the job
This post holder will provide a high quality administrative service to the Business manager. The postholder will be involved in the administration of event promotion, a range of training events and courses provided by the centre. They will provide administrative support to those in the team marketing and promoting these activities. They may also be involved in the delivery of online or face to face events such as our annual conference and master classes. Events management experience would be an advantage.
They will ideally have some familiarity or administrative experience of communications and of social media and/or websites in particular. They will be have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and experience of maintaining spreadsheets, databases and other office systems. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to plan their own workload. They will be able to work within the unique culture and values of the NHS and fit into the SMC team of mindfulness researchers, trainers, teachers, administrators, interns and assistants who work in a friendly, mutually respectful and collaborative way.
This post is currently predominantly home working with occasional face to face meetings and events in Brighton. Flexible working hours are encouraged. There is likely to be the option in the future to extend the hours and to make the currently fixed term post substantive.
